Your ARDS accreditation, together with the now mandatory CRB check and registration, are an essential element of your professional instructing credentials and we appreciate your support for the ARDS licensing scheme that has helped to establish it as the industry standard.

We are please to be launching online applications and payments this year. We hope this will make the process easier for you and also less expensive for the Association to administer, enabling us to keep the licence fees at last year’s rates. For full fees and charges.

If you do not wish to apply online you may download an application form to complete and return to ARDS with a cheque or email admin@ards.co.uk to be sent a copy.

All ARDS instructors will have individual public liability insurance as part of their ARDS licence cover for 2012. The benefits are that you will be able to demonstrate to any prospective employer or client, and have the peace of mind of knowing, that you have individual cover of £5 million for claims and legal fees. This will apply to all UK venues, whether you are working for an organiser or as a freelance, and can be extended to cover European venues. The premium for this cover, which is mandatory, is £50.00 for UK venues or £55.00 for UK plus Europe.
