ANDREW BENTLEY

About

Trackday drivers, Race drivers, Junior Race drivers. Everyone is catered for.

Andrew's instructing experience has been born from racing at high levels in the sport and a career which includes Single Seater, Le Mans Prototype, GT and Historics. Coaching professional, amateur and novice drivers in categories from Prototype racing at Le Mans to MX5s at Donington, he has developed a great understanding of how best to explain the sometimes very complicated techniques to new or experienced drivers in simple and easy to understand ways.

A grade A ARDS instructor, he has many clients for whom he provides coaching on test, track and race weekends. He has also guided many complete novice drivers through to racing success. An official Ferrari North Europe and McLaren instructor he's also been an official UK Porsche Driving Consultant, Silverstone Race Academy instructor and has worked for nearly every manufacture providing driving and instructing services including Audi, Aston Martin, BMW, Maserati and Lamborghini. Andrew also has copious amounts of racing and instructing experience at every major UK and European race circuit and proving facility, along with experience of a broad range of cars and data logging systems.

Everyone is catered for, from circuit driving novice through to seasoned racer. Every driver has different requirements, however a typical days tuition on an organised trackday for example would take place in your own car, or, in a car hired from a reputable trackday hire company. Your goals will be established and a plan for the day will be discussed. Every aspect of your driving will be looked at, from seating position, steering technique, vision along with braking, cornering and acceleration. No area will be overlooked in the process of extracting every ounce of performance from you, the driver.

If you are looking to improve your car control and understanding of the dynamics of the chassis, days spent in skid and auto test cars can be arranged. An unparalleled opportunity to experience and understand the causes and effects of understeer and oversteer and how to facilitate the correction and prevention of each.
